Adrian was born in Eastbourne in 1946, his early childhood was spent in Yorkshire, where his father taught art at Beverley Grammer School, then he moved to Buckinghamshire when his father was appointed head of the Art Department at Aylesbury Grammer School - where Adrian studied art under his guidance. Adrian trained as a scientific photographer working for Richard Thomas & Baldwin (British Steel) and Rolls Royce, he was resposible for setting up reprographic departments for a number of art studios and printing companies before starting his own company the senecio press where he could specialise in producing short run limited edition books and prints for some of this countries leading artists and publishers. His photography has always been a major part of the business and over the past 40 years he has built up an impressive portfolio of images of studio and location shots in the UK and throughout the world from both business and pleasure trips - certainly not your typical photographic record of travels.
